iSyn

I bought iSyn (http://www.isynapp.com/).

I have only played with it for a few minutes, but my initial impressions are as follows:

- Sounds very good- completely adequate for my purposes (synth, drum machine... the so-called "digital" sound)

- Editors need work. All of them (step, XY, live keyboard.)

- Felt very mechanical trying to program in sounds, and found it impossible to erase the pre-recorded patterns! (Could be user error, will check the manual... but I prefer to start from scratch, rather than from template)

- Turned off by UI. No recording options? It's only $4.99, but I can't help feeling like this is a nice idea that needs to be reimplemented with a little more attention to the UI...
